Victoria Inn from Ashburton forced a 4-4 draw against Applebys in a thrilling match at Torquay's Windmill Hill.

Luke Martin (2), winger Lee Lewis on his club debut and Mike Tapp scored for Victoria Inn, Tapp with his first touch of the ball after going on as a second minute substitute for injured Craig Teague.

Applebys, beaten heavily by AFC Paignton after fielding only seven players the previous week, replied through Dave Worthington (2), Russ Williams and Kevin Orrell. Apart from a point, the other refreshing news for manager Rod Martin on Sunday was the option of three players on the substitutes bench following the previous week's farcical turn-out.
